Hi! I'm Joanne Bamberger and I'm also known around the blogosphere as PunditMom. I'm a politically progressive mom, writer AND a political analyst living in the shadow of the nation's capital. 
I'm a Contributing Editor for Politics at BlogHer, and a regular contributor to The Huffington Post & MOMocrats blogs. My political commentary has appeared on CNN, Fox News, ABC.com, BBC Radio & XM Radio POTUS '08, among others. I do have time for other things, but have given up sleep!

As a mom, a former broadcast journalist and recovering attorney, I try to bring a fresh perspective to political commentary that I think some of the talking head shows could use!
